The summer is here and the first job is silage making. Cutting the grass, turning, baling, carting, wrapping and stacking the bales is a repetitive job but the stack quickly grows and winter supplies are filling the yard for another year.
Open farm Sunday was a fantastic success raising £556.25 for the R.A.B.I charity! Thank you all for your support in this event and through out the year. We're already planning next years OFS which will be Sunday 11th June 2017.
Farm to Fork Fridays are going from strength to strength at the farm You're able to purchase your grass fed beef and pork straight from the farm gate, every Friday 9.30-6pm.
Our regular monthly markets are Ridgewell 2nd Saturday of the month, Coggeshall 3rd Sunday in July, Sept, Nov, Steeple Bumpstead fourth Saturday each month.
We have a stand at the Essex food and festival 16-17th July at Cressing Temple in the Taste of Anglia marque.
One last thing to let you know is we have a unique beef tasting coming up on 19th September again raising funds for R.A.B.I charity in a fun and delicious way! Booking is essential for this event 01371 850671 or email [email protected]
