Saturday Workshops, cookery and talks (Coming Soon!)
We're excited to announce a collaboration with Julie Cleijne, naturopathic chef and sustainable food consultant here at Deersbrook Farm.
We can now offer a wider range of workshops, talks and events alongside our meals, open days, events, catering and school visits.. We are looking forward to expanding the variety of events here at Deersbrook Farm.

This Summer, Julie is also planning to lead practical cookery sessions where participants can learn new techniques, enjoy shared meals, and take home their creations. Topics could include:
· Heritage and seasonal UK foods and their role in climate resilience
· Eating for gut health and diversity for overall wellbeing
· Kimchi and other fermentation workshops
· Functional drinks like kombucha and kefir
· Functional foods for immunity, brain health, and longevity
· The healing power of mushrooms
· Whole foods, UK grains, legumes, and seeds
· Reducing food waste and sustainable cooking approaches
· Cooking with game and ‘less but better’ farmed meat
Our First collaborative farm to fork workshop will be held on Saturday 28th March at 11am-12.30. Please book your tickets below. We look forward to welcoming you to Deersbrook Farm, to explore the farm, environment, livestock and produce for a farm walk, talk, refreshments and nibbles. What to except, an insight into food and farming, fresh air, myth busting, great discussions and tasty food.
